Digital Archives

I just gave a presentation at the Interior Design Studio, Parson School of Design about Digital Archives, particularly the work that I did at the New Museum. Obviously there are wide range of resources on archives. I would highly suggest Jacques Derrida’s book Archive Fever as a critical/philosophical start.

If you like to go technical, here are some links that you may want to check it out.

Of course wikipedia is a very good resource to learn about the concepts and terms.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_library

If you are talking about Digital Archive, one of the main issue is the Metadata. Here is the Metadata resources: http://archive.ifla.org/II/metadata.htm
